"I think this might have been the most
complete games that we have had on both ends of the floor for 40
minutes all season, maybe other than against Old Dominion,"
said VCU Head Coach Beth Cunningham.
"I'm extremely proud of the team and the way they
bounced back after a tough week last week. We had great
balance and a lot of key contributions from a lot of different
players.
"Every single one of them came ready to
go. I could tell yesterday in practice. We had good
enthusiasm and everyone was focused. It certainly gives you
confidence in games like this when you can go to a number of
different players."
Junior guard Jessica Taylor

four assists and three steals for VCU, while senior forward
D'Andra Moss contributed 13 points and a

close as the Tribe would get the remainder of the night as the Rams
used a 25-6 run over the next 10 minutes to go ahead 35-10 with
4:57 to go before the break.
William & Mary settled down and scored
12-straight points to get within 35-22 at the 1:24 mark. Moss

Patterson hit a jumper with three seconds showing and the

players appeared off the bench in two of the Rams' previous
three games – one against Drexel and two at Old Dominion.
"It's going to be critical here down
the stretch and in the conference tournament to develop our
bench," Cunningham said. "It's something
that we were trying to do tonight and the team was ready.
When they got their opportunity, they made the most of
it."
