PRIOR TO VCU:

  • Ran four years of Track and three years of Cross Country at Western Tech in Baltimore, Md.
  • Was the State Champion in the Indoor 500 m during his senior year of high school
  • Finished 3rd in the 400 at the State Outdoor race in his senior year.
  • Was named his high school’s MVP all four years of high school.
