RAMS RANK AMONG D1BASEBALL’S TOP COLLEGE PROGRAMS

In the fifth edition of D1Baseball's Top 100 college baseball program rankings, VCU rose once again, landing at No. 64 in 2024.
 
With its program rankings, D1Baseball aims to identify programs that have "establish[ed] a tradition of consistent winning in the last decade, and especially in the last five years." VCU has stood tall among the organization's top 100 programs in the nation since the inaugural release in 2015.
 
The Rams climbed to No. 64 following a pair of Atlantic 10 Championships and NCAA tournament appearances in both 2022 and 2024 after claiming the A-10 title and making a visit to the NCAA postseason in 2021. The Rams continue to raise the ceiling with their on-field success.
 
The D1Baseball staff analyzed programs' performances into the postseason, and adjusted rankings with evaluations of "coaching staff quality and stability, facilities… and recruiting and player development proficiency," among other factors.
