The Short Story: Eight Rams set personal-records as VCU traveled across Virginia for two meets at Virginia Tech and VMI.

SPRINTS/HURDLES

• Aubree Harris finished 2nd in the 60m hurdles with a personal-record 8.52s
• Taylah Walker and Indira O'Neil also set personal records in the 60m hurdles at 8.85s and 8.87s, respectively
• Junior Jaliyah Person was victorious in the 400m run with a season-best 55.76s
• Senior Jordyn Evans finished 4th in the 400m run at 56.69s

DISTANCE

• Senior Ava Miller set a personal record with a 5:11.35s run in the mile, good for fourth place
• Freshman Viktoria Higgins finished 7th in the mile

RELAYS

• The Rams were victorious in the 4x400m relay as Tori Lewis, Walker, Tatiana Burns, and O'Neil combined for a 3:51.48 run

JUMPS

• Junior Iyana Braswell finished 4th in the long jump with a season-best 5.68m jump
• Senior Sydney Carr finished 5th in the triple jump with a season-best 12.03m jump

THROWS

• Freshman Melissa Casiraghi finished 4th in the weight throw at 17.86m
• Junior Blanca Pereira set a season-best in the weight throw at 17.36m
• Senior Like Matalatala set a personal-record in the weight throw at 16.17m and shot put at 14.15m

NEXT UP

The Rams travel to Lynchburg next weekend for the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational, hosted by Liberty. Events start on Friday, Feb. 13 and continue on Saturday, Feb. 14.
