Jadrian Tracey dropped a career-high 26 points as dominated Dayton in front of a sold out Siegel Center Friday night.
OPENING TIP
- Tracey connected on 9-of-12 attempts from the field, including a career-best 6-of-9 from beyond the 3-point arc. He added three rebounds, two assists
- Junior guard Tyrell Ward added 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field with four rebounds for VCU
- Sophomore guard Terrence Hill Jr. scored 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting for the Black and Gold, while junior forward Lazar Djokovic scored 13 points with seven rebounds and a career-high four blocks

- VCU held Dayton to 37 percent (24-of-65) shooting in the contest. The Rams built a 50-27 lead by halftime and led by as many as 35 points on the evening. VCU shot 53 percent (17-of-32) in the first half as it took command
- The Rams outscored the Flyers 30-6 in fast break points. The +24 difference in that category is the best on the season for VCU
- The Rams shot 31-of-38 from the free throw line while the Flyers were 18-of-30. The 38 free throw attempts are the most by VCU in a game this season
