VCU EARNS DOMINANT 15-4 WIN OVER LONGWOOD

The Short Story: VCU and Longwood were tied 2-2 with 6:27 left in the first quarter before scoring 11 of the next 12 goals to pull away for the dominant win.

  • VCU opened the scoring on a Maggie Ohle goal with 13:23 and took a 2-0 lead after a Palmer goal
  • Longwood scored back-to-back goals to be tied 2-2 with 6:27 left in the first quarter
  • The Rams got a goal from O'Keefe that started five unanswered goals and scored 11 of 12 unanswered to build a 13-3 lead with 11:05 left in the fourth quarter
  • VCU allowed just one goal for the final 37:26 of game play as the Rams took a dominant win
