The short story: VCU got within 51-46 with 6:02 left in the fourth quarter but the Bonnies went on a 7-0 run to push their lead to 58-46. The Rams were unable to overcome the late run.

- Katarina Knezevic tied a career-high with 10 rebounds and recorded her first career double-double with 18 points and 10 boards
- Ty Williams added 11 points, three assists and two steals
- Makennah White added nine points and seven rebounds on 4-of-6 shooting
- St. Bonaventure shot 45.6 percent from the floor while the Rams shot 39.0 percent. The Bonnies went 7-of-18 from 3-point range while the Rams shot just 4-of-21

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bonnies opened the game on a 16-6 run capped by a Drake jumper with 5:16 remaining in the first quarter
- VCU rallied to cut the deficit to 18-14 at the end of the quarter
- The Rams had a 7-0 run in the second quarter, finished by a White layup to make it 23-22 with 5:18 remaining until halftime. The teams went back-and-forth and VCU trailed just 34-32 at the break
- Kneževic connected on a layup with 6:02 remaining to cut the deficit to 51-46 but the Bonnies were able to use a 7-0 run to put the game away
