- VCU trailed 52-28 after the third quarter as Geroge Mason manufactured a 13-1 run to extend its lead
- White sparked the Rams' late rally in the fourth quarter, capping an 8-0 run with back-to-back 3-pointers
- The Rams outscored the Patriots 30-16 in the final quarter, closing out the game with a 14-3 run, but fell 68-58
