The Short Story: Morena Macera, the reigning Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, led VCU with two goals as the Rams shutout the Tribe on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • VCU took the lead in the 13th minute as Macera scored on a penalty corner on assists from Berhmann and Gandos
  • The Rams went up 2-0 in the 24th minute as Afonso scored off a penalty corner
  • VCU increased its lead to 3-0 in the 55th minute as White led VCU's counter attack and her pass found Macera who tapped into a wide open goal
