After a lengthy rain delay and a slow start, VCU women's soccer staged a miraculous comeback, made final by an 85
th-minute beauty from
Jazmin Jackson to lift the Rams over the Midshipmen, 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game was quiet for the first eight minutes with VCU and Navy trading possession but conceding no opportunities
- In the ninth minute, the Midshipmen were the first to strike as Pongratz made a pair of saves
- Emerging from a 0-0 tie at half time, Navy got on the board first on a long run past Pongratz by Jessica Black to snap the stalemate
- Breaking into the Mids' defensive third with a free kick, Connolly bounced a hard shot off the left post before Sarver found the back of the net off the rebound, evening the score, 1-1
- Jackson entered the game at 83:21 and VCU pieced together its game-winning goal on one-touch passes from Franklin and Sarver
- The Rams emerged with the win, 2-1, over the Mids to secure back-to-back victories for the first time this season
