VCU women's soccer secured its second Atlantic 10 shutout in three games, taking down visiting Saint Joseph's 2-0 on Sunday afternoon.
Y-Van Nguyen and
Isabelle Franklin scored the pair of Rams goals while Pongratz held on for the clean sheet between the posts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- VCU broke the game open in the 38th minute when Hall connected with Nguyen at 20 yards out and she fired a dart into the top left corner to give the home team a 1-0 lead
- In the 63rd minute, the Rams doubled their lead off a corner kick as Franklin followed through on a lost ball right in front of the net
- Firing back and forth, Saint Joseph's induced a save by Pongratz in the next minute before Ishpreen Marwah and Jazmin Jackson laid three shots on goal over the next three minutes
- In the 86th minute, Pongratz sealed the shutout for VCU, diving to deny Saint Joseph's at the bottom left corner of the net
- The Rams earned their second A-10 win, 2-0
