RICHMOND, Va. - VCU Women's Tennis will take on a competitive spring slate highlighted by NCAA Tournament opponents, familiar Atlantic 10 rivals, and trips up and down the East Coast as the Rams look to defend their A-10 crown.
The Rams will open their 2026 spring campaign with a stretch of home matches, beginning with Northwestern on Jan. 16, followed by Temple on Jan. 18 and Longwood on Jan. 23. The Rams will once again face familiar A-10 rivals, including a rematch of the 2025 Championship as Richmond makes the short trip across town on March 27. Two other A-10 Tournament teams appear on the schedule as well, with George Washington visiting on Jan. 31 and George Mason set for Feb. 22.
VCU will also take on two opponents that reached the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The Rams will travel to DeLand, Florida to face Stetson on March 14. Last year, the Hatters won the Atlantic Sun Conference and advanced to the NCAA First Round. A week later, the Rams will head to Norfolk to battle Old Dominion on March 21. The Monarchs captured the Sun Belt title and also earned an NCAA appearance.
VCU will close out the regular season with home A-10 matchups against Duquesne on April 17 and Saint Joseph's on April 18. The Rams will then head to Orlando for the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships set for April 22-25, where they will look to defend their title and secure a second straight NCAA Tournament bid.
The Rams return a powerful core, including three All-Atlantic 10 First-Team selections,
