WOMEN’S TENNIS SIGNS ELICIA KIM

RICHMOND, Va. - VCU Women's Tennis Head Coach Rifa Kahfiani has announced the signing of Elicia Kim.

Kim, a native of Doreen, Australia, will join the Rams in the spring of 2026 as a junior transfer from Stetson. She spent two seasons with the Hatters, helping the program post a 33-12 record while capturing two Atlantic Sun Conference championships. 

Prior to her collegiate career, Kim held an ITF World Women's Ranking of No. 1330 and an ITF World Junior Ranking of No. 765. She reached the Round of 16 at the Australian 18 & Under National Championships, competed in the Junior Australian Open with a first-round doubles appearance and a third-round qualifying run in singles, and earned a main-draw appearance at the Cairns 25K ITF event.

The Rams will begin their season against Northwestern on January 16 at 10 a.m. at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.
