BASEBALL ANNOUNCES SIGNING OF FOUR INCOMING RAMS

RICHMOND, VA. – VCU baseball and second-year Head Coach Sean Thompson announce the signing of four high school seniors from the class of 2026. A trio of hitters and a right-handed pitcher are set to join the Rams' ranks ahead of the 2027 season, bringing a wealth of talent with them.
 
The incoming class includes three in-state additions, Hank Brown, BJ McIntyre and Tristan Lange, in addition to Braydon Hallman, who hails from South Carolina.
 
Hank Brown
Position: Third Baseman
Hometown: Virginia Beach, Va.
High School: Frank W. Cox
Ht./Wt.: 6-2 | 200
What Coach Thompson says about Brown: "Hank is a corner left-handed hitter with legit power to all fields. He comes from a family that has won championships here at VCU and we are excited to have him."
 
 
BJ McIntyre
Position: Outfielder
Hometown: Chesapeake, Va.
High School: Grassfield
Ht./Wt.: 6-4 | 205
What Coach Thompson says about McIntyre: "BJ is an outstanding athlete with tons of projection. He is going to have the ability to continue to develop and be an impact right-handed hitter."
 
 
Tristan Lange
Position: Right-Handed Pitcher
Hometown: Roanoke, Va.
High School: North Cross

What Coach Thompson says about Lange: "Tristan is a fantastic three-sport athlete in the state of Virginia. He brings a low-90s FB and a full arsenal of off-speed that is going to have the chance to impact us immediately."
 
 
Braydon Hallman
Position: Shortstop
Hometown: Leesville, S.C.
High School: Batesburg-Leesville
Ht./Wt.: 6-2 | 190
What Coach Thompson says about Hallman: "Braydon is coming to us from South Carolina where he is coming off a State Championship. He has the ability to play SS and bring his winning formula to VCU."
