THE SHORT STORY
VCU women's soccer fell to Dayton at Sports Backers Stadium on Sunday afternoon, 3-0, as the Flyers remained undefeated in Atlantic 10 play.

• Keira McCloskey, Keira Connolly and Jazmin Jackson placed shots on goal for the Rams
• Y-Van Nguyen, Stella Castro and goalkeeper Mia Pongratz played the full 90 minutes
• Freshman midfielder Mina Stevens recorded a career-high 64 minutes

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Dayton opened the scoring in the sixth minute
• The Flyers managed a second goal in the final minutes of the opening period, leading by a pair heading into the half
• In the final 10 minutes, the Rams put pressure on the visitors and placed a pair of shots on goal, but Reda tallied three saves to seal the clean sheet
• Dayton scored a pair in the 81^st and 90^th minutes for a 4-0 final score
