Alicja Jaryszek came off the bench and ripped all seven of her kills in the final two sets to spark a late charge by VCU, as it surged to a four-set win over George Washington Friday night.
OPENING VOLLEY
- Jaryszek spiked her seven kills on 13 attempts and hit .462 in her two sets of action
- Senior Julia Rienks led VCU with 13 kills, four service aces and three blocks
- Sophomore middle blocker Letizia Galli also provided nine kills and six blocks, while hitting .571, for the Black and Gold

- VCU dominated the final two sets, a pair of 25-12 victories. The Rams hit a combined .449 in the final two frames, while holding the Revolutionaries to a paltry -.056 mark over the same period
