- Finished seventh in her collegiate debut at the VSU Cross Country Invitational with a 5k time of 20:35.9
- Finished 3rd on VCU and 63rd overall in the Roanoke XC Invitational, finishing the 6k in 24:49.2
Prior to VCU:Â
- Attended Charlottesville High School in Charlottesville, Va.
- Also competed on the school's swim team
- 4x400 and 4x800 school record holder
- All-Central Virginia Cross Country team

- Both parents are Elementary ESL teachers
