Luisa Fasold.

- Northeastern scored the game's first goal as the first quarter expired on a penalty corner to lead 1-0
- The Huskies doubled their lead in the 22nd minute on a goal from Lara Taylor and made it 2-0 in favor of Northeastern
- Macera got VCU back within 2-1 just before halftime in the 27th minute as she scored off a penalty corner
- In the 58th minute, Carr-Brown forced overtime as she was able to score off a loose ball and tie the game at 2-2
- Fasold won the game with 10 seconds left in overtime with her goal
