RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Soccer has announced its 2024 schedule that is highlighted by matches against ACC and Big Ten opponents as well as nine home games.
 
The Rams are set to face three 2023 NCAA Tournament teams as well as Maryland, Virginia, N.C. State and in-state rivals ODU, Liberty and William & Mary.
 
VCU has two exhibition games scheduled, one at Virginia Tech (Aug. 5) and at home against Longwood (Aug. 10), before beginning the regular season.
 
The Rams open the season against two 2023 NCAA Tournament teams with the first contest at defending Sun Belt Champion ODU (Aug. 15) followed by a trip to defending CUSA Champion Liberty (Aug. 22).
 
VCU hosts N.C. State (Aug. 25) in its home opener to begin a three-game homestand. The Rams then host William & Mary (Aug. 29) and Virginia (Sep. 5) at Sports Backers Stadium.
 
The Black and Gold hit the road to face Big Ten opponent Maryland (Sep. 8) before returning to Richmond to play UNCW (Sept. 12).
 
Atlantic 10 play begins at Davidson (Sept. 19) followed by the Rams playing three of their next four games at home against A-10 opponents. VCU hosts George Mason (Sept. 22) before traveling to Saint Joseph's (Sept. 26). The Rams welcome St. Bonaventure (Sept. 29) and Loyola Chicago (Oct. 3).
 
The Rams travel to defending A-10 Champion Saint Louis (Oct. 13) and return home to face Duquesne (Oct. 17).
 
VCU closes the season out with two of its final three games on the road, traveling to Dayton (Oct. 20) and George Washington (Oct. 24). The season finale will be held at Sports Backers against UMass (Oct. 27).
 
The Atlantic 10 Championships will be hosted by the higher seeds at on-campus sites.
