Aden Hill homered for the second straight day Saturday in a win at St. Bonaventure.

- Gordon struck out 10, while scattering four hits and two walks in seven shutout innings – his longest outing of the season
- Junior lefty Cade Dressler completed the VCU shutout with two innings of scoreless relief. He struck out one
- Hill launched his sixth home run of the season and finished 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for the Black and Gold
- Senior third baseman Brandon Eike singled, doubled and drove in a run for VCU, while senior catcher Nic Ericsson was 2-for-2 with an RBI single and a stolen base. He scored twiceÂ
THE STRETCH
- VCU pitching limited the Bonnies to just five singles on the day
- Hill broke a scoreless tie with an opposite field solo homer in the top of the fourth
- RBI singles by Eike in the fifth and Ericsson in the sixth, respectively, staked the Rams to a 3-0 advantage. Hill tacked on an RBI single in the eighth
- VCU racked up 12 base hits on the day
