Timaya Lewis-Eutsey supplied 11 points, and VCU held St. Bonaventure to 26 percent shooting on the way to victory Saturday at the Siegel Center.

- VCU clamped down on Bona on defense and limited the Bonnies to 15-of-57 shooting in the game, including 8-of-29 (26 percent) from 3-point range. The Rams limited St. Bonaventure to just nine field goals and a total of 23 points in the final three quarters combined
- The Rams forced 16 turnovers and owned a 40-24 advantage on the glass
- VCU shot 49 percent (20-of-41) from the field and connected on 11-of-15 free throws
