Joe Bamisile led five Rams in double figures with 20 points, while graduate forward
Jack Clark registered his first double-double of the season to send VCU to a 20-point win Sunday at the Stuart C. Siegel Center. Prior to tip-off, VCU retired the No. 2 jersey of former star Briante Weber.

- Bamisile finished 9-for-15 from the floor, including 2-for-6 from beyond the arc, in 26 minutes
- Clark racked up 11 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a block on the way to his sixth career double-double
- Graduate guards Zeb Jackson (14) and Max Shulga (13), as well as sophomore swingman Michael Belle (10) all scored in double-figures for the Rams

THE DIFFERENCE
- VCU put together a 10-2 run, capped by a Bamisile 3-pointer, as well as a 7-2 burst a short time later, to build a 68-48 lead with 11:29 left in the game
- The Rams trailed 35-34 with 3:49 left in the first half, but used an 8-2 spurt, including a pair of Bamisile buckets, to take a 42-37 lead into the break
- VCU committed a season-low seven turnovers and handed out a season-high 25 assists
- VCU outscored William & Mary 58-28 in the paint and 21-3 off fast breaks
- The Black and Gold scored 21 points off of 19 William & Mary turnovers
NOTABLE
- Weber, who starred at VCU from 2011-15, saw his No. 2 jersey retired in a pregame ceremony. Weber recorded 374 steals in his career, which is the school record and fourth in NCAA history
- VCU's 25 assists are its most since Nov. 13, 2017, when it dished out 26 against North Florida
- This is the first matchup between VCU and William & Mary since the Rams departed the CAA for the Atlantic 10 Conference in 2012. VCU leads the all-time series 39-12
