THE BASICS
  • Athletic forward with a 7-foot-2 wingspan whose shot-blocking ability provides VCU with rim protection in the paint
  • Developing perimeter game; Comfortable pulling up from 15-18 feet
  • Chose VCU after a long list of offers that included Cal, Georgia Tech, Houston, Iowa, Maryland, Miami (Fla.), Providence and others  
HIGH SCHOOL/AAU
  • After a year at Our Lady of Mount Caramel (Baltimore, Md.) and a year at Bella Vista Prep (Phoenix, Az.), transferred to AZ Compass Prep (Chandler, Az.) for his senior season
  • Helped AZ Compass Prep to a 20-7 record and an appearance in the Chipotle Nationals Tournament, while averaging 5.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game
  • BCL All-League Second Team and Defensive Player of the Year (2022)
  • Nike EYBL Scholastic All Defensive Team (2024)
