The Short Story: VCU Men's Tennis continued their fall season with two tournaments in North Carolina this weekend. Alfred Almasi and German Samofalov competed at Davidson in the Atlantic 10 Individual Master's Qualifier with a bid to the NCAA Individual Championship on the line and Kostiantyn Mantach competed at UNCW in the UNCW Team Invite.

OPENING SERVE

• Samofalov and Almasi competed in singles and doubles action at the Atlantic 10 Individual Master's Qualifier.

• Almasi won his singles on Friday before falling in his first match on Saturday

• Samofalov made the final down in Davidson. 

• Mantach won 2 of his 3 matches down in Wilmington

• VCU finished the weekend with an overall record of 6-4.
