WOMEN'S TENNIS SIGNS TIZIANA ROSSINI

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Tennis Head Coach Vivian Segnini has announced the signing of Tiziana Rossini from Buenos Aries, Argentina.
 
Rossini is an Argentinian national champion and has been ranked as high as No. 2 in Argentina. She has been ranked as high as No. 329 in the ITF Junior Rankings and No. 1003 in the WTA Singles and No. 874 in WTA Doubles.
 
"I'm happy to announce the signing of Tiziana. Coming from South America she has faced many challenges in order to achieve her objectives. She is a hard worker and fierce competitor and she will contribute to the success of the team by working hard every day. I'm excited for her to get here in August."
 
Rossini has also reached the a J4 Singles Semifinal as well as a J3 Doubles Final. In the WTA, she has been a W15 Doubles Champion and reached the W15 Singles Semifinal.
 
"I chose VCU because I feel that I have the same values as the team. I'm so grateful for the opportunity," said Rossini.
