- The Rams won the doubles point after convincing wins on court one and two, the Rams winning those matches 6-2 and 6-3, respectively. Victoria Smirnova and Victoria Matasova won on court one while Yelizaveta Karlova and Emma Valletta earned the win on court tow
- In singles, VCU went up 2-0 after Smirnova earned a 7-6, 6-1 win on court one
- Richmond earned a point back on court five with a 7-5, 6-2 win to cut VCU's lead to 2-1
- The Spiders tied the match at 2-2 on court five with a 7-5, 6-2 win on court three
- Richmond reeled off another win to go up 3-2 on court four as VCU trailed 3-2 with two matches to play
