OPENING SERVE

• VCU won the first doubles match 6-3 on court two Yelizaveta Karlova and Emma Valletta before Fordham took a 6-4 win on court one. Fordham took the doubles point with a 7-6 (3) tiebreaking win on court three
• Fordham took a 2-0 lead after a 6-0, 6-0 win on court five but VCU responded with Valletta winning 6-2, 6-4 on court six to get VCU within 2-1
• Fordham then earned victories on courts four and three to clinch the match
