The Short Story: VCU led George Mason 5-4 early in the second quarter before five unanswered goals gave the Rams a 10-4 halftime lead that they never relinquished.

  • Juliana George answered with her second goal of the day, the first of five unanswered VCU goals, to build the Rams' lead to 10-4 at the half
  • The Rams took control of the game from that point on as George Mason got no closer than a four-goal deficit the entire second half
