• The Tribe scored the game's first goal but the Rams responded with four unanswered to lead 4-1 with 6:54 left on a goal from Mia George
• Both teams traded goals as the Tribe got back within 6-4 with 10:13 left before halftime
• VCU's offense took hold of the contest and scored six unanswered, spanning across the break, to lead 12-4 with 12:07 left in the third quarter. Juliana George and McDonnell accounted for five of the six goals during the run
• The Tribe would get no closer than a seven-goal deficit for the remainder of the game
