SARAH TE-BIASU NAMED TO ALL-ATLANTIC 10 THIRD TEAM

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – VCU Women's Basketball's Sarah Te-Biasu earned All-Atlantic 10 Third Team honors as announced by the conference Tuesday.

Te-Biasu, a junior guard, averaged a team-high 16.1 points per game. She earned All-Atlantic 10 Third Team honors for the second straight season. During A-10 play, she averaged 20.0 points and 3.5 assists per game. Te-Biasu was limited to just 19 overall games and seven conference games due to injury.
 
Te-Biasu leads the team in assists with 2.9 assists and 55 overall. She shot 35.2 percent from 3-point range during conference play and 33.3 percent overall. She shot 85.3 percent from the free throw line. The full list of A-10 honors can be found here.
 
VCU opens the Atlantic 10 Championship on March 1 at noon as the Rams face No. 12 seed Dayton. The first round game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
