The Short Story: VCU powered past in-state rival ODU after taking the doubles point and winning on courts one, two, three, four, and six for the team's fourth straight win.
 
OPENING SERVE
  • VCU took the doubles point thanks to the strong effort by graduate Charles Bertimon and senior Max Bertimon who beat the no. 36 pair Younes Lalami and Brandon Perez after being down 2-4
  • Bobichon clinched the match for VCU on court one, as he won his third set 7-5
  • Graduate Rayane Stable and junior Matisse Bobichon clinched the point on court one
  • Stable also won on court four, winning in the third set 6-0
  • C. Bertimon brought his game to three sets with a win in the third, 6-3
  • M. Bertimon had a hard-fought victory on court four, winning his third set 7-5
  • Freshman Romain Gales continued his strong season and undefeated streak, winning on court six 3-6, 7-5, 6-4
