The Short Story: VCU closed out the weekend by earning their second victory of the week in a dominant win over George Mason
 
OPENING SERVE
  • The Rams claimed the doubles point with convincing victories on courts one and three
  • Sophomore Joaquim Almeida and junior Matisse Bobichon paired up on court three to kick off the match for VCU with a 6-1 win
  • Graduate Charles Bertimon and Senior Maxence Bertimon earned a commanding 6-2 double victory to clinch the point
  • Stable claimed the first singles point of the match with a strong 6-0, 6-0 win
  • C. Bertimon followed closely behind on court one with a solid 6-3, 6-1 victory
  • Almeida controlled the third line, winning 6-1, 6-2
  • Freshman Etienne Marty got his first win of the season on court five 6-2, 6-1
  • Freshman Sam Baumgartner won his second match of the year on court four by a close margin, 4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-7)
