The short story: The VCU Men's cross country continues to show improvement each year, having the best finish in two years at the A-10 Conference Championships. Freshman Jacob Barrow shines for the Rams securing a top 50 finish.


Hear from the Rams: "I'm proud of our men's team for getting out there and running hard. We certainly hoped for more and we are capable of more…This season we've taken a huge step forward. I'm excited for this team to continue to evolve and climb our way up" said Cross Country Coach Austin Savage.
 
THE FINISH LINE:

• Barrow came out the gates strong running under 20 minutes in the 6K split. Barrow finished 49^th with a time of 25:10.56.
• Junior, Kyle Weldon was the second Ram to cross the finish line, coming in at 64^th with a 25:28.85 time.
• Junior, Nahim Abdallah was right on his heels finishing in 65^th, clocking a 25:30.04 finish time.
• Junior, Jaden Luczak finished in 75^th crossing the finish line in 25:44.72.
• Remaining runners: Kendall Phillips (86^th/25:56.33), Freshman, Hudson Finocchio (97^th/26:10.60), Freshman, Cole Dawson (106^th/26:20.90), Sophomore, Hudson Barth (116^th/26:47.37), Freshman, Jaden Lockhart (124^th/27:10.98)
