THE SHORT STORY: In the 76th minute,
Kendyl Sarver sent home a no doubt game winner to give VCU Women's Soccer a much needed Atlantic 10 road win, taking down St. Bonaventure 1-0 on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Â
"I am insanely proud of our kids today, and everyday really," said Head Coach
Lindsey Martin. "We have faced adversity this season, more so than any other season in recent memory, and they continue to never give up and believe in one another.
Â
"Kendyl's [Sarver] goal felt like a million pounds off all of our shoulders and gave us a reason to keep believing. If anyone can turn this season around, it's this group of kids and staff."
