GALES WINS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK FOR SECOND TIME

RICHMOND, Va. – Freshman Romain Gales won Atlantic 10 rookie of the week for the second time in as many weeks, the conference announced today.

The Quimper, France native won a single match on court six against Penn and both of his doubles matches against NC State and Penn on court three, which helped the Rams secure the victory and move their record to 5-1. Gales has started the season 4-0 in singles and 5-0 in doubles play.

VCU travels to Lynchburg, Va. to face Clemson on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m.
