Anna Bagley converted an 88th minute penalty kick to give the Rams a 3-2 win over the previously undefeated Panthers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a throw-in by Pitt, Bulatovic found Matsuhisa outside the box who cross the ball right on to the head of Sarver who found the back of the net in the 5th minute
- Pitt struck back in the 25th minute when Leah Pais scored on a pass from Anna Bout
- Sarver used her head again in the 54th minute, this time scoring off a feed from Bagley's free kick to take the lead 2-1
- Pitt found their offense again late in the 77th minute when Sarah Schupansky used a crowded box to sneak the ball past the keeper
- The Rams had the decisive moment in the game after Sarver dribbled near the keeper when she was taken down by a defender and a penalty kick was awarded in the 88th minute. Bagley took the shot for VCU and fired a perfect low-corner shot past the keeper to secure the win
