Whitney Horton recorded six saves to keep fifth-ranked Virginia at bay and help lift VCU to a hard-earned draw Sunday in Charlottesville.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UVA kept the pressure on all game on the way to a 24-7 shots advantage, but Horton and the Rams' defense held firm
- The Rams made a couple of second-half runs, including one by sophomore Greta Kraszula in the 70th minute, but her shot sailed high. Sarver got another look moments later for VCU, but White was able to cover up her shot
- Horton recorded three saves in each half
