ROGERS STEPS DOWN AS VCU VOLLEYBALL COACH

RICHMOND, Va. – Jody Rogers has stepped down as VCU Volleyball head coach, Rams Vice President and Director of Athletics Ed McLaughlin announced Friday.

Rogers helmed the VCU program for nine seasons and recorded a 180-88 overall record, including 97-26 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. Her tenure included a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2017 and 2019), as well as an A-10 Tournament Championship in 2017.

"While my nine-year tenure as head volleyball coach at VCU has produced many great memories and successes, I have decided to dedicate time for my family," Rogers said. "I have been very fortunate to have had outstanding student-athletes, dedicated coaches, and countless fans. I would like to thank Ed McLaughlin for taking a chance on a Division II coach from Indiana nine years ago and all the great support staff at VCU throughout my tenure. Best of luck to VCU volleyball!"

"Jody Rogers has decided to step down as the head coach of VCU Volleyball. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors," McLaughlin said.

VCU third-year Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Kevin Maureen Campbell has been named interim head coach.
