RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Tennis has been named an ITA All-Academic Team for the fourth consecutive year while six student-athletes were named ITA Scholar Athletes.

Paola Exposito Diaz-Delgado,
Anja Draskovic,
Laura Garcia Astudillo,
Yelizaveta Karlova,
Nina Sorkin and
Shivani Manjanna were all named ITA Scholar Athletes. In order to earn the distinction, each student-athlete posted a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.

As a team, VCU earned the distinction of an ITA All-Academic Team by having a team GPA of 3.2 or above. The team has earned the honor each year since 2018.

VCU won the Atlantic 10 Championship for the fourth straight year in 2022 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. Diaz-Delgado became the first Ram to advance to the NCAA Semifinals in singles and in the process became a two-time ITA All-American.
