RICHMOND, Va. – No. 30 VCU Men's Tennis will face the No. 45 Penn Quakers in the NCAA Tournament First Round in Charlottesville, Va. on Friday, May 6 at 1 p.m.

The Rams clinched their fifth consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship with a 4-0 sweep of No. 3 seed Dayton on Sunday, May 1.

The Quakers come into the match holding a 19-5 overall record and went 6-1 against Ivy League opponents. Penn hasn't played a match since April 24 in a 4-1 win over Cornell.

In the A-10 Championship against Dayton, VCU clinched the doubles point when Inigo Torre Martin and
Rayane Stable won 6-1 on court two after a 6-1 win from
Joaquim Almeida and
Matisse Bobichon on court three. The Rams went up 2-0 when Stable had a convincing 6-1, 6-1 win on court five.

The Black and Gold got the match's final two points with a 6-1, 6-4 win from Inigo Torre martin and a 6-2, 7-5 win from
Matisse Bobichon. Bobichon's win sealed the match for VCU.
The winner will face the winner of No. 7 seed Virginia and Farleigh Dickinson.
