Vince Williams Jr. (Toledo, Ohio) announced Thursday he will declare for the 2022 NBA Draft.

A First Team All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection this past season, averaged career highs of 14.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per game in 2021-22. Williams, who led VCU to a 22-10 record and an NIT berth, shot .477 from the floor, including .387 (65-of-168) from 3-point range.

A 6-foot-6 forward, Williams aims to join former teammate
Bones Hyland (Wilmington, Del.) in the NBA. Hyland was selected 26
th overall by the Denver Nuggets in last year's NBA Draft and is currently averaging 10.0 points and 2.7 assists per game in his rookie season.

Overall, 20 former Rams have been drafted by NBA clubs, including three in the first round (Hyland, Eric Maynor and Larry Sanders). Eleven VCU alums have played in the NBA, and several are currently playing in the NBA's G-League.
