Lauryn Taylor broke the meet record in the 200-meter dash as the Rams collected four event wins at the JMU Invitational.

SPRINTS/HURDLES
- Taylor won the 200 in a meet record time of 23.95, breaking the 24-second barrier for the first time this season. The time ranks first in the Atlantic 10 this season. Sophomores Karah Moore (24.81) and Simone Pierre (24.82) placed fifth and sixth, respectively
- Junior Lauryn Freeman ran a wind-aided 14.09 in the 100-meter hurdles, placing fifth. Junior Yasmine Silmon ran 14.63w
- Freshman Sophie Heinold ran 1:05.94 in the 400 hurdles, placing seventh, while Freeman returned to the track to place eighth in the event
- VCU's 4x100 relay team of Rorie Spencer, Taylor, Moore, and Freeman won in a time of 46.38
- Sophomore Nia McMillan ran a personal best of 58.24 in the 400 to place seventh

DISTANCE
- Freshman Lauren Tunnell grabbed runner-up honors in the 800, running 2:13.75. The time ranks ninth all-time at VCU and ninth in the Atlantic 10 this season

JUMPS
- The Rams claimed first and third in the high jump, led by freshman Nayome Shipp's 1.70m meet-record clearance. The mark ties for first in the conference this season. Junior Dasia Mayo placed third, clearing 1.62m
- Sophomore Raquel Hawkins placed second in the triple jump with a wind-aided mark of 11.70m

- Sophomore Eryn Byrd notched a win in the discus with a 44.67m throw
