Makayla McGowan in three throwing events, the Rams competed at the three-day Texas State Invitational, turning in multiple personal bests.

THROWS
- Senior Kayla Merkel grabbed a fourth-place finish in the javelin throw with a 39.31m mark
- McGowan placed sixth in the discus throw, recording a 47.21m mark in the fifth round of the event
- McGowan returned to the throwing circle Friday, turning in a 47.22m performance in the hammer throw. Sophomore Eryn Byrd recorded a 43.86m throw in the event
- McGowan concluded her weekend with a runner-up finish in the shot put, recording a 15.05m throw. Byrd followed in third with a 14.68m toss. Senior Shannon Moise recorded a 13.77m toss

SPRINTS/HURDLES
- Sophomore Lauryn Taylor ran 24.78 in the 200-meter dash, making her season debut in the event
- Senior Courtney Higgins ran a near-personal best time of 14.37 in the 100 hurdles
- Sophomores Karah Moore and Nia McMillan turned in sub-60 performances in the 400, with Moore setting a personal best of 56.57. Moore's time marks her first time breaking the 57-second barrier in the event. McMillan clocked 59.08

JUMPS
- Freshman Nayome Shipp cleared 1.65m in the high jump, earning a top-10 finish. Sophomore Jailah Channer posted a 1.60m clearance in the event
- Senior Amari Jackson placed eighth in the triple jump, setting an outdoor personal best of 12.07m
