VCU EARNS FOURTH STRAIGHT ROAD WIN WITH VICTORY OVER CORNELL

The Short Story: VCU claimed its fourth straight road win with a shutout victory over no. 50 ranked Cornell
 
OPENING SERVE
  • VCU claimed the doubles point with commanding victories on courts one and three
  • Senior Charles Bertimon and Junior Maxence Bertimon earned a dominant 6-2 victory over Cornell's no. 31 ranked pairing of Alafia Ayeni and Vladislav Melnic. With this win the pairing improves to 11-4 on the spring season
  • Maxence Bertimon took home a third consecutive victory defeating Cornell's Vladislav Melnic in a competitive 7-5, 7-5 match
  • Freshman Joaquim Almeida claimed a convincing 6-1, 6-0 victory over Cornell's Adit Sinha
  • Sophomore Matisse Bobichon earned his 11th consecutive singles victory with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Cornell's Evan Bynoe from court four. This marks Bobichon's third straight win from the no. 4 position
