- Charlotte claimed the doubles point with wins on court one and three
- Senior Rayane Stable started off singles strong for the Rams with a dominant 6-2, 6-0 victory from court five
- Junior Maxence Bertimon claimed the second singles point for VCU with a convincing two-set win over Charlotte's Stefanos Savva. This win marks four straight singles victories for Bertimon
- Grad Student Inigo Torre Martin put the Rams up one taking a strong 7-5, 6-3 win over Charlotte's Mikhail Sokolovskiy on court three
- Sophomore Matisse Bobichon clinched the match for the Rams with his 12th straight singles win. After falling behind by one set early, Bobichon fought back to take the second and third sets by convincing scores of 6-3, 6-2
