  • George Mason responded with four unanswered goals to trail VCU just 7-6 at halftime
  • VCU scored three of the first four goals in the second half to get out in front 10-7 with 7:25 left in the third following back-to-back goals from Osmeyer
  • The Patriots tied the game at 10-10 with 14:13 left in the fourth quarter, drawing even with the Rams for the first time on the afternoon
  • VCU's offense came to life and scored 11 goals in the fourth quarter while limiting the Patriots to just one as the Rams pulled away for the win
