• Longwood chipped away at the Rams' lead and held VCU to just two goals in the second quarter to cut VCU's lead to 8-5 at halftime
• The Rams scored the first four goals of the third quarter to push their lead to 12-5 after a goal from Juliana George
• VCU's defense limited the Lancers to just three goals in the second half as they cruised to the win
