SPRINTS/HURDLES
- Junior Lauryn Freeman set a personal best of 1:04.76 in the 400-meter hurdles
- Sophomore Karah Moore ran 24.74 in the 200, setting a personal best and breaking the 25-second barrier for the first time in her career
- The Rams' 4x100 team of SyVanna Metcalfe, Freeman, Courtney Higgins, and Jailah Channer placed seventh
- A trio of Rams recorded sub-15 second finishes in the 100 hurdles, as Freeman ran 14.28, Higgins clocked 14.64, and junior Yasmine Silmon ran 14.84 in the event

THROWS
- Hallgrimsdottir only needed three attempts to reach her record-breaking mark of 57.49m in the hammer throw. Her first two attempts (53.55m, 55.00m) also broke VCU's previous record, set in 2014 by Jaleesa Williams (52.93m). Hallgrimsdottir's mark currently ranks 12th in the east region and 22nd in the NCAA
- Senior Makayla McGowan recorded a mark of 48.38 in the discus, placing sixth. Sophomore Eryn Byrd recorded a 44.08m toss
- Senior Kayla Merkel placed fifth in the javelin throw with a 41.40m launch
- McGowan and Byrd continued their strong showings Friday night in the shot put, with McGowan using a 14.64m throw to place seventh. Byrd recorded a 14.43m toss, and senior Shannon Moise secured an outdoor personal best of 13.88m

- Freshman Nayome Shipp cleared 1.62m in the high jump, securing a top-10 finish
