The Short Story:Â The Rams collected four event wins and several personal bests in Virginia Beach Sunday.

SPRINTS
- Junior Lauryn Freeman continued her successful season with a win in the 60-meter dash. Her fastest time of the day came in the finals, where she clocked 7.72. Freeman also placed seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.84
- Junior Yasmine Silmon grabbed a runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash, turning in a time of 58.79. Sophomore Nia McMillan placed eighth in the eventÂ
- VCU's 4x400-meter relay team of Jailah Channer, Courtney Higgins, Taylor James, and Samie Sow finished third

DISTANCE
- Freshman Cassidy Guyton finished first in the 3000-meter run. Her time of 10:30.37, a new personal best, was nearly 17 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. Guyton now sits at No. 10 on VCU's all-time list in the event

JUMPS
- Nayome Shipp continued her stellar freshman campaign with a win and 1.72m clearance in the high jump. Junior Dasia Mayo placed second (1.62), and junior Khaila Lyons placed fourth
- Junior Simone Pierre made her debut in the long jump, winning the event with a leap of 5.54m in the sixth and final round. She currently sits at No. 8 in the Atlantic 10. Senior Jessica Tucker placed fifth
- Freshman Sydney Carr collected a runner-up finish in the triple jump with a mark of 11.29m
