The Short Story: VCU and No. 20 Johns Hopkins went toe-to-toe for the first three quarters with the Rams trailing just 6-5 with 1:35 left in the third. The Blue Jays limited VCU's offense as they pulled away in the fourth for the win.

  • McDonnell scored again to jumpstart VCU as the Rams scored three of the next four goals to get within 6-5 with 1:05 left in the third
  • The Blue Jays scored nine unanswered goals to pull away from VCU for the win
